Dr. Daniel Wong graduated with BSE (Highest Honors, Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi and Phi Beta Kappa) from Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, USA, in 1992, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Stanford University, Stanford, California, USA, in 1994 and 1998, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He received the G.David Forney, Jr. Prize from Princeton University (1992) and the Telcordia Technologies CEO Award (2002). He is the honoree (recipient) of The Outstanding Young Malaysian (TOYM) award in Science and Technology Development, in 2007.
Dr. Wong is a Senior Member of IEEE. He used to be a research scientist at Telcordia Technologies in New Jersey, where he was involved in research, development, design, and prototyping in wireless communications systems. From 2003 to 2008, he was also a faculty member at Malaysia University of Science and Technology.

He spent nine years in Brunei Darussalam working for an IBM Business Partnered IT Firm, where the company market and support a complete range of IBM Business Servers from IBM AS/400 Mid-range Servers to IBM RS/6000 RISC-based Servers. He is especially proficient in Technical and Solution Selling to Corporate Customers, and provision of IT consultancy offering Business solutions for Offices and providing LAN & WAN (Intranet and Internet) Solutions.
