Dr. Daniel Wong graduated with BSE (Highest Honors, Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi and Phi Beta Kappa) from Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, USA, in 1992, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Stanford University, Stanford, California, USA, in 1994 and 1998, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He received the G.David Forney, Jr. Prize from Princeton University (1992) and the Telcordia Technologies CEO Award (2002). He is the honoree (recipient) of The Outstanding Young Malaysian (TOYM) award in Science and Technology Development, in 2007.

Dr. Wong is a Senior Member of IEEE. He used to be a research scientist at Telcordia Technologies in New Jersey, where he was involved in research, development, design, and prototyping in wireless communications systems. From 2003 to 2008, he was also a faculty member at Malaysia University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Daniel Wong

Dr. Wong is listed in the Marquis "Who's Who in America", and "Who's Who in Science and Engineering". He is the author of the book Wireless Internet Telecommunications. He has published more than 70 research papers on wireless communications and networking in peer-reviewed academic journals and conferences, and has been awarded several patents in the United States and Taiwan. Currently he is a board member of the IEEE Communications Society's Sister Societies Board. He is also an Editorial Board member of IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, and a member of the Practice Analysis Task Force that helped create a wireless certification program (WCET) for IEEE Communications Society.

Mr. Alfred Shia


Mr. Alfred Shia received his B.Sc. in Travel Industry Management from the University of Honolulu, Hawaii.

His areas of expertise include project management in civil and building engineering works, property & resort development, hospitality industry management, mining, manufacturing, financial sector, risk management and corporate governance and quality control management including ISO certifications.

Mr. Clement Chin

Mr Clement Chin has 20 years of experience in Information Technology Industry and he received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Hull, UK, in 1997 and Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Carleton University, Canada in 1985.

He spent nine years in Brunei Darussalam working for an IBM Business Partnered IT Firm, where the company market and support a complete range of IBM Business Servers from IBM AS/400 Mid-range Servers to IBM RS/6000 RISC-based Servers. He is especially proficient in Technical and Solution Selling to Corporate Customers, and provision of IT consultancy offering Business solutions for Offices and providing LAN & WAN (Intranet and Internet) Solutions.
