Microsoft certifications are highly regarded in the IT profession. Those who pass the exams and become certified have demonstrated competence in the various aspects of computer systems, servers or databases.
Because of the widespread usage of Microsoft software in computer systems around the world, individuals who have Microsoft certifications become very useful to organizations and companies.
We regularly offer short courses for MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) in Windows Server, MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) in Windows Exchange Server and Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) in Microsoft Office 2007.
MCSE focuses on expertise in Windows Server 2003, and consists of a series of 7 exams, 4 in networking, 1 in client operating systems, 1 on design, and 1 elective. MCSE remains popular and useful, due to the large number of deployments of Windows Server 2003. At IIHT, we prepare students for the following set of 7 exams for MCSE certification:
MCSA focuses on managing and troubleshooting network environments running on Windows server systems. This is useful for systems administrators, network administrators, information systems administrators, network operations analysts, network technicians, and technical support specialists.
MCTS certifies ability to implement, build, troubleshoot, and debug a particular Windows product, such as Windows Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.
The Microsoft short courses include lectures and hands-on lab exercises on servers and PCs running Microsoft software. While the above Microsoft short courses are regularly scheduled, other Microsoft short courses would also be offered from time to time depending on demand and other factors.
Microsoft is a large software company whose software, such as Windows and the Office suite, are installed in many millions of computers around the world.
