unique 3-in-1 program

Consider the part-time TIMS (pTIMS) option! This is a unique 3-in-1 program! You spend two years continuing to work while taking night classes and weekend classes, and you attain the following accomplishments:

  1. you get an IIHT TIMS certification that’s in high market demand
  2. you have studied for about 16 IT industry certifications, e.g., CCNA
  3. will be acceptable for selected IT diploma and degree programs, with advance placement, in Malaysian University of Science and Technology (Malaysia), International Technology University (California, USA) and Sikim Manipal University (India)
Because the IIHT name is so reputable, just the TIMS certification from IIHT would be valuable in job placement in IMS globally. However, the student would also be equipped with the knowledge equivalent to about 16 IT industry standard certifications. Taking the equivalent short courses for these certifications would cost about at least RM 50,000, which is much more than what the student would pay for the TIMS program. This alone would be a unbeatable value.

TIMS is an industry-focused certification, so you get the skills you need to work in today’s IT industry. The exams, certifications and quality of instruction are the same as for the full-time TIMS program, but with fewer class hours because of students' work experience and/or prior education.

Students will attend classes 2 evenings a week from 700pm to 1000pm and on Saturdays from either 900am to 12 noon or 100pm to 400pm. Altogether there will be 9 hours a week of classes.

Alternatively, students could attend classes 3 evenings a week from 700pm to 1000pm (without a Saturday class).

too much commitment?

If the two-year program sounds like more than you need, or too much of a commitment, do consider also an alternative: our individual short courses. These are intense courses typically a few days or a week long.

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements for application for our pTIMS program:

  1. A degree or diploma in IT or equivalent. Candidates should preferably have some working experience.
  2. A degree or diploma in any field of study with at least 2 years of working experience in IT related field.
  3. Substantial working experience in IT.
